Trinasolar, a leading global supplier of photovoltaic and energy storage solutions, has announced that it has successfully produced the world’s first fully recycled c-Si module. The Research Centre Academy of Trinasolar made the breakthrough with its innovative self-developed recycling technology, using materials including silicon, sliver, aluminium frames and glass recovered from waste modules. This is a significant milestone for the industry, and solidifies Trinasolar’s position as a leader in the sustainability space.</p>

Trinasolar, a global leader in smart PV and energy storage solutions, has supplied 308,000 Vertex bifacial dual-glass modules and FixOrigin mounting structures to the second largest photovoltaic farm in Poland, located in Przykona, in the Wielkopolska region. The plant, with a total installed capacity of 200MW, was built on the site of a former open-pit mine, significantly contributing to the green transformation of the country, and will produce enough energy to power 100,000 households annually.</p>

The system is developed and owned by Trinasolar's International System Business Unit (ISBU), the global project development arm of Trinasolar, and has seen the two business units collaborate on the site.</p>
